Loving the Rainforest

 

We are not new to Click-A-Brick. Matter of fact they have become a new favorite. My favorite creation from the Rain Forest series is the Snake.

Our children love to mix and match the colors from the different sets to make even more colorful creations.

Some of my favorites are the dinosaur our daughter made as well as the replica of our family.

As a parent I like toys that are both fun and educational.

What Click-A-Brick has to say about their product.
The Click-A-Brick Rainforest Rascals set is an educational building block set for children aged 4 and up. What makes this product unique is the way the blocks connect to each other. Rather than connecting in just one way, Click-A-Brick's can be connected from all sides and corners; even forming diagonal lines.

This way of building helps children improve motor and dexterity skills as well as their spatial reasoning. The Dino Pals set comes with instructions on how to build an Iguana. Our children love the Click-A-Brick Building blocks. This is our third set and each time they are able to build what is suggested as well as adding to their brick collection to make other creations.

These are the kind of toys I like to see my children playing with. Something they create with their own minds, or even by following directions. Both are learning opportunities for your children.

Love the colors and how many ways the pieces can be put together. I am always happy to see what they have made.

Team USA Soccer

One of the things my daughters loves best is playing soccer, sadly she wasn't able to play for the school this year because her physical was after the day they had tryouts. They wouldn't let her try out without her physical.

Luckily she was able to take part in British Soccer this summer as well as looking forward to Basketball season. Soccer will be there next year so we will make the best of the quite time we have before the next sport starts up.

Not playing Soccer for the school doesn't slow her down from wanting to wear soccer apparel or get out there and practice with her sisters when she can. I was able to surprise her with this new Soccer shirt which she loves and will wear to school soon.

Her love of soccer never ceases even when the going gets tough. Look out next year girls because she will be there to have our backs.

Where do you store your extra knives?

Personally I have always wanted a magnetic knife rack, although I love my knife block we have more knives then what can fit in it so having somewhere extra to store them is nice. This fit perfectly into the pegboard siding of our kitchen island.

If you don't want to use this for knives you can also attach it to the bottom of a cabinet and have little glass baby food jars having from their tops from it for storage. Didn't try it on Mason Jars but that might work too.

Great for organization, looks fantastic, and got me thinking about other ways to use this magnetic strip around the house.

Tinted Sunscreen

I really enjoy using product from OZ Naturals and I have to say that my favorite by far is their tinted age defying solar shield 30 SPF. I just mix a little with my facial moisturizer for my face and spread a little on my legs so they don't look so pale in comparison to my arms which see the sun more often.

Easy to use, comes in a nice size tube. When just used for my face this could probably last me a year since I rarely use any other make up other then tinted sunscreen and lip gloss, although I would like to get back into it just a little.
