24 Set Silicone Baking Muffins/Cupcakes Liner Cups

Silicone Baking Muffin/Cupcake Liners are one of my favorite things invented. We makes lots of cupcakes. For those that leave our home we still use paper liners but when they are for our home or packed as a snack we use our Silicone Liners.

They can be used over and over again, are easy to clean by soaking in a little warm soapy water a little scrub with a cup cleaner and once they are dry you are ready to fill and bake again.

A really fun thing we do with our Silicone liners is to take mixed up broken crayons and layer them in the liners, bake in the oven until the crayons are just melted, remove let cool, pop out and you have                                                         multicolored crayons to make some awesome drawings with.

Camo Trucker Hat

It isn't often I get to review items that my husband likes, although he does most of our tech reviews he doesn't always get something just for him. He tries out lots of items we get for male use, but he doesn't always know it will be something he will like. We knew going in that the Camo Trucker Hat was just the thing for my husband. 

As you can see below he was very excited to have a new hat. He hasn't had a new hat since I bought him one two years ago for Christmas. He is a bit picky. He likes snap back over a fitted hat  and they are harder to find. 

What really impressed him was the inside brim of the hat which you can see below towards the bottom. he says this will keep his head from breaking out in the summer as it is more padded then other hats he has owned. 

He really isn't into Camo all that much but he is looking forward to seeing more hats like this for sale in the near future.

We were very lucky to be able to check out the Hango Lunch Bag Set in Pink. I couldn't find it anymore in Pink but they do have it for sale in Black, you can find the link below. They are really pretty, durable, and the zippers really make them look expensive and more like a handbag then a lunch bag.

Dinner in Marksville

I know it has been quite some time since I have done a dinner post but life happens and there is only so much time in a day to get everything done. I actually picked these two recipes out last night to make this evening. 

For dinner we went with Lemon Butter Chicken , Creamy Parmesan Rice, and Green Beans. We did happen to have dessert tonight which was Snickers Ice Cream from Breyers. 

The only things I changed with the Lemon Butter Chicken was using Chicken Quarters instead of just thighs, and I did the whole process on the stove top instead of transferring over half way to the oven. 

With the Creamy Parmesan Rice we doubled the recipe and I would suggest adding the parsley and cheese while the rice is still on the liquid side instead of being dryer for a more even flavor distribution. Both of these recipes went well together and the family enjoyed them.
