I use this mainly to fade sun spots or in my case to give my fair complexion a boost after years of not always wearing sunscreen when I should have. In the winter you can only see a few of my freckles but in the summer look out because they all come out of hiding. As I have aged I have learned to apply a moisturizer with SPF of 15 to protect my delicate face and until recently that is all I did to protect my face if I wasn't going to be on the beach.

When I received this I was afraid it would be more like a loofah then a Ultra soft sponge. It comes in a hard form but once you get it wet it becomes so soft, reminded me of a soft sponge cake, maybe even more soft.
