I was a bit excited to get these as were my daughters. You get 100 glow stick bracelets with 100 connectors in 4 different colors. We used most of them to put into treat bags for the girls classrooms for Halloween, but there are lots of things you can do with them. 

You can stick them into balloons for glow in the dark fun, example during a sweet 16 birthday, or for Easter for a night time egg hunt. You can combine more then one color to make crowns, belts, or necklaces. You can attach them into your hair for a great night glow in the dark dancing.

Snakes are not my favorite but I don't mind learning about them and this is just the thing for the little snake lovers in your life. This is also a great book for an introductory in learning about snakes. Creepy Crawlies, and Slimy Snakes, just what most boys love. 

My girls enjoyed learning about different snakes as well as seeing all of the snakes up close and not so personal. Not that they are afraid because we have gone to reptile facilities and they have both touched and held the snakes, but lets keep the dangerous ones as far away as possible. 

Where we live we deal with Copper heads, Rattle snakes, and Water Moccasins, I believe the rest are none poisonous to my knowledge at least in our area.

If you have a little one who loves space or Astronauts then they will be in for a treat. Amazing Facts about Astronauts is of course all about Astronauts. My 11 year old enjoyed this book more then my 6 year old. I think because she enjoys Science a bit more then her sister who hasn't really learned that much yet in second grade. 

Like Dan Jackson's other books the pictures and illustrations are friendly and vivid. Very enjoyable for both child and parent.

Amazing Facts about the MOON was a great book filled with wonderful pictures, and lots of information about the moon. My daughter learned many new things while I read this to her and even my 11 year old learned a few new things. 

The time I spend reading to my children is two fold, one to help them learn to love reading as much as I do , and two to be able to spend extra time with them while they are still small. As they get older like my 17 year old and her older brothers and sisters they don't want to hear mommy read all of the time, but I hope that they will always remember snuggling with mommy while I read books to them, while they were young.

If your child likes to learn about science or just loves the moon, this book is great.
