Guide

I have been doing yoga on and off since my brothers taught me way back in the 70's. It has helped me stay limber, yes even at 370+ pounds I can still touch my toes, at least when my Fibromyalgia is not flaring up that is.
I remember my first pregnancy and my Lamaze class. They were teaching us stretches and I was the only one who could do them fully. All of the mothers asked me how I did them so easily and I said I had been doing yoga moves to keep my body more flexible.
When I say I do yoga, the first thing people see is my weight. Yes yoga can help with losing weight but for me it is about movement. My husband will even tell people I do it, and he has seen the good it can do.
My Dr. says that my Yoga and Meditation has kept me from feeling most of the pain while keeping me more flexible. I never knew that I would have Fibromyalgia. Actually as I write this I am unable to do any movement because I am having spasms that are on my right side down to my spine then up and around the back of my neck spreading to my left side.
For this I take muscle relaxers and so far nothing has helped, not even heat, rest, or light stretches. Last year when I got this for the first time it was just down on my lower spine and was about the size of a fist, but this is causing pain in a much larger area so my movement is very limited.
Once I am better I will be back on my Yoga mat doing my thing. I have a daughter who wants me to teach her more moves. She has just took interest in it again. Perfect timing because the moves in Mommy Does Yoga Prenatal Yoga Guide are gentle enough to be done while pregnant so they will be nice easy moves to get her into doing Yoga more often.
Mommy Does Yoga Prenatal Yoga Guide will guide you through yoga during pregnancy, but remember these poses can be done before and after pregnancy as well. Remember to always check with your Dr. before starting an exercise regimen.
