"Raymond's Uncut Diamond" written by Assof Marcus was a really good book to read to children of all ages. It teaches that just because others can't see the wonderful things you can do, doesn't mean they aren't there.
Too often we see adults and children belittling each other, telling others they aren't good at anything, or they are useless, but this book does a really good job at explaining how we all start off as uncut diamonds and over time turn to the brilliant eye catching diamond that everyone will eventually see.
