Cottonell's Summer Clean Care

Love being apart of Crowdtap and Cottonelle's Clean Crew.
MarksvilleandMe presents Cottonell's Summer Clean Care.
As you can see above my box came full of Cottonell Clean Care Toilet Paper and Cottonell  Fresh Care Flushable Cleanding Cloths in a neat dispenser.

I was sent some coupons and Cottonelle fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloths Portable packages to hand out to friends. I was given a third which I keep in my car for those just in cast moments which we will get to in a few minutes.

We usually buy one ply toilet paper because of the kids but honestly I love Cottonelle the best.

I keep our Cottonelle Fresh Care Flusable Cloths on the back of our toilet while the Toilet paper is kept in a holder. This package is waiting until it has a turn on the roll dispenser.

I was told to tell you about a day that Cottonelle saved the day. Well my daughter who has blessed me with two grand children but doesn't quite have the diaper bag deal all down yet, forgot yet again to pack wipes, so on a particular hot day when the baby decided to let it all loose (if you get my meaning) I notice there are no wipes in the diaper bag, and our extra stash of wipes is also empty but thankfully I had the Portable Soft Pack of Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloths that I received from Cottonelle and Crowdtap with me.
It sure saved the day making cleaning up my grand baby a breeze and when it was all over I was able to wipe my brow with a nice clean cloth from all of the sweating I was doing, refreshing even myself.

Cottonelle came through for a clean that even works in the Summer on the hottest and messiest of days.

MorningStar Farms More Ways to Eat Smart Party

A big thank you to MorningStar Farms and House Party for a great sampling event hosted by your truly MarksvilleandMe.

The box is here, what is inside?

Awesome! Reuseable grocery bags, hot mitt, Frisbee, coupons, and a apron.

Here is the bonus stuff laid out to see.

Here I am thinking about which burgers to try first.

I just picked up my MorningStar Farms veggie burgers the other day.

We decided on:

Asian Veggie Patties which are sweet & spicy, with hints of chilies, garlic, and ginger.
100 calories a burger and cholesterol free.

Grillers California Turk'y which is a veggie turk'y burger with avocados & tomatoes.
100 calories a burger and also cholesterol free.

Last but not least was the Meiterranean Chickpea which is a veggies style burger made with chickpeas, spinach, and roma tomatoes.
110 calories a burger.

Here is a picture of the boxes. Don't worry about the small size because they are big on taste.

I was very excited to see that they picked up the grill marks from our inside grill.
A really good plus for me is that the clean up was a breeze.
Regular burgers leave a lot of grease to clean up while the MorningStar Farms Veggie Burgers were a quick soapy water wash with no scrubbing needed.

We decided on Veggie Burgers and Salad for dinner.
Above you see our lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, avocado, and feta cheese .
Not pictures were the condiments, dressings, and olives.

Yummy Salad!

My husband the meat and potatoes man traded his double cheeseburger for a doubt veggie burger.
His first veggie burger ever.

He says the MorningStar Farms burgers fell apart to easily, because all of the good stuff that keeps regular burgers together was missing!

He did eat them, but said he wouldn't buy them for the price they want, but if they were on sale and I had coupons then I could buy them again.

Here is my 6 year old having her first veggie burger with cheese and ketchup.
She likes spicy but thought there were a little too spicy.
Daddy finished her burger for her.

While not my first veggie burger I have to say that MorningStar Farms make a good burger.
Sadly I agree with my husband unless they were on sale, and I had a coupon I don't see us buying them too often.

Overall our family enjoyed these and wouldn't mind eatting MorningStar Farms products again, but the price is a bit steep
For our family this was a great no meat meal to go along with our weight loss efforts which you can read about over at Pam's fight to lose weight.

MarksvilleandMe Review

Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg is about a little boy who loves to climb trees. While climbing a  tree during a camping trip he spots an egg, and sets out on an adventure to return it to the rightful owner.

The illustrations were very cute. My 6 year old daughter Dorothy listened while I read this to her. She loves our Snuggle and Story time.
In 1st grade they learned a lot about animal habitats so this fit right in with what she had learned.
To be honest I learned a few things about habitats while reading this as well.
Kids love adventure, Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg delivered this in a fun and thoughtful way.
I would love to read more books like this with my daughter.

Dorothy is in between 1st and 2nd grade. Her favorite part of the book was the the happy ending.
