Kleenex Brand Believer!

Here is one of the new samples I got for being a Kleenex Brand Believer.

Isn't this the cutest purse pack? Much better then the old ones in my opinion.

Here you can see how it looks when you have it flipped open and so far each time I close it the little stick and close area has worked fine.

I was asked to talk about where in my home you find our Kleenex.
Below you can see I keep a box near my laptop for those sneezes that sneak up on you.

I love the purse pack so much I gave my old one to one of my daughters and put the new pack in my purse.
Even in my purse I can find it easily.

Other places we keep our Kleenes are in the bathroom, pantry, and by my bedside. The kids usually have their own box near them when they have the sniffles.
We even have a box in our vehicle.
You just never know when you might need one.

I was also asked to give new ideas for the use of both Kleenex tissues and the boxes that some come in.

You may be asking. What can you make with a Tissue Box?

With a few items like scraps of paper, googly eyes, glue, and pipe cleaners you can make a ...

Tissue Box Monster.
The kids love these when they are sick
Provides a little friendly companion, and if they are old enough something fun to do to pass the time away.

Our kids have used Kleenex boxes for monster feet, boxes to store things in, valentines boxes, and many other neat things.
One thing I am thankful for is imaginative children.

You can find many more ideas over at Pinterest.

Last but not least like I said you just never know when a sneeze may come along...

So glad we had our Kleenex handy.
Allergy season has really taken it's toll on our family.

Other uses for Kleenex include removing makeup, wiping up small spills, stopping a bloody nose, getting rid of that dead spider you stomped on and we can't forget the wild and crazy things you can do with Kleenex such as...

Yes that is one of my offspring and she is glad to make people laugh with her wild and crazy faces she makes.

I am sure you could add to the list of things you can do with Kleenex and I would be glad to hear them in the comment section below.

What to do on a Rainy 4th of July when you have kids.

OK I bought this eons ago and it has been pretty much sitting unused. Not because we didn't like it but because we always have something to do. My 6 year old Dorothy pictured above found the box of Crazy Forts the other day and asked if we could put it together. It was bedtime so I told her we would do it yesterday, which came and went with other things we had to do, so I promised her we would build it today. Thinking it was the 4th of July she would forget because we would be busy with other things

Surprise this morning it is still wet and nasty out so I kept my word and started to help her put it together. After a few minutes she took over and finished building it herself with a little help from her 11 year old sister Deanna who is not pictured.

This is the design she decided to go for.

Tada this is the Crazy Fort after it has been covered with a King Size Flat sheet, just in case others out there want to know just how big it is once built. You can also use several smaller sheets if you don't have king size sheets to come up with your own look.

As a child I loved to build forts and until now my children have built them  from blankets, pillows, and furniture. Now don't get me wrong the old stand by is just fine, but with Crazy Forts your child learns to follow directions to build lots of different designs that are available on their website

Here you can see Dorothy peeking out from her fort.

The Crazy Fort we have has 69 pieces 25 balls, and 44 sticks and says it is for ages 5 and up but would see no problem with my 3 year old grand daughter playing with this once it is built. She loves forts too.

You can find out more about Crazy Forts on.

SWEETNLOW Sample and Share

I really enjoy learning about and trying new products. As a member of Crowdtap I get to try lots of different products. This time as you can see I was given SWEET'N LOW to try.
They sent me a box of 50 packets.
5 samples to share with friends.
&
6 recipe cards.

I have to say that the recipe cards were the real hit in our house.
Here you can see me getting ready to make Strawberry Granita Freeze.
You need
1 pound of frozen strawberries
2 cups of water
1/4 cup of lime juice (I used lemon because I do not like lime)
and 16 packs of SWEET'N LOW

You need a blender, putting them all in the blender in the order listed. Make sure you hold the top down and mix till slushy.
Pour into 4 glasses and decorate with a fresh strawberry

.For 45 calories total it was a worth it.

I do have to say it was a scorcher where we lived the day we made this and it turned into more of a drink then a Granita but it was still good, as you can see below.

My personal opinion I still find that SWEET'N LOW has a really bitter aftertaste to it, and even though I might not use SWEET'N LOW for these recipes again I will use another no calorie sweetener with less after taste. Although with the bitter taste it was like we were drinking alcohol if that helps anyone out who likes to drink.

You can find this and more recipes at

You can get more information about SWEET'N LOW
