I have been holding something back

I have been reluctant to share because I didn't really know how long things would last but as most people in my life know getting water down me is quite hard. I go for a while drinking water and then I won't drink water, of course having kidney problems and having to go to the bathroom often already sucks, but I was sent some Cirkul products to try and did a post on Youtube of my first reaction which you have to see and make sure to stay to the end, my husband kept the camera rolling and caught some off-camera footage. 

With Cirkul I have been drinking water and actually enjoying it. I have only had 2 soda cans since starting and last night because my water wasn't cold yet I actually took one sip of the can of soda they gave me and said nope don't want it and drank more water. Don't get me wrong I only drank diet soda, juice, lemonade, tea both hot and cold, and milk mainly before Cirkul came into my life with very little plain water. 

This morning I even took out my seated elliptical and did some steps. It has been forever since I have had this many steps in and we can already see the change in my energy levels. Mind you I don't think it is just Cirkul doing all of this. Part is because my tests are still showing no more cancer, I can get out and get some sun, and our bleeding disorder is doing a challenge for better health. Either way, water is better for me than other drinks, and making small changes that can help my body heal and get healthier, means the longer I can be around for my family. I do adapt well but my health has always been put on the back burner to take care of my family. So now it is time to do just that so I can be here for my family for years to come.

Rolling Around

When we moved we left behind our old skates from our older children so when we settled and our youngest wanted to skate we had nothing for her. As a mom I wanted a nice skate that would last her a few years which meant I needed one that had adjustable sizes. 

After looking at several different skates both online and in store I settled on these skates from Jifar. They do everything I wanted in a skate and them made them in fun colors for children as well as having light up wheels which are great for when they are skating at rolling rinks. 

These are my daughters first in-line skates so she was a little apprehensive about learning but I told her soon enough she would be skating on these just like she does on quads.

I chose Purple for my daughter and Pink for my Grand daughter. We love how sturdy they are as well as how easy they are to change between sizes. They do come with carry bags which we found were a bit a waste since the straps ripped off but for the price they are still a comparable bargain to others that don't have bags included. 

Both my daughter and grand daughter were really excited about the lights and can't wait to get them out on the rolling rink this month. As a family having a bathroom scale comes into use fairly often. When the kids have stomach bugs we check their weight to make sure they haven't lost too much weight, and check everyone's weight from time to time to make sure as in my husband's case and my own we are losing while the girls are doing well themselves.

Do you often forget to take a dose of your medication or do you know someone who needs reminding? Then this item might be right for you. First of all I want to suggest that if there are children who will be in the home at any time that this be kept out of their reach. The lock is really easy to use.

You set the alarm to go off up to 6 times but remember this is in Military time so you are able to set it correctly the first time. The directions are pretty straight forward although I think the 3 second is much more like 6 seconds if you ask me. 

I always remember my morning or night medication but often if and when I have to take something else like and antibiotic then I need a reminder to take those other doses, and this item has been keeping me on time for taking my medication. I recently had a part of my wisdom tooth break off, causing an infection, and then was pulled out. I am in the healing stages, stitches come out late next week. Pina Colada Macaroons
4 cups dried shredded coconut
6 scoops Pina Colada Formula 1
¼ cup coconut milk (in a can)
¼ cup coconut milk powder
¼ cup raw honey
¼ cups coconut oil
2 Tbsp. cashew butter Sift and mix dry ingredients together: coconut, formula 1, coconut milk power. Set aside. In a small sauce pan, on low/medium heat, melt coconut oil, honey, cashew butter, and coconut milk until smooth. Pour mixture over dry ingredients and form into any shape. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 or more minutes. Enjoy!

Green Earth Frying Pan

A while ago Ozeri was nice enough to send me a product to review and I have to say this is the best frying pan I have ever had. Now I want a bigger size. This is my go to fried egg pan perfect for doing eggs, one grilled cheese sandwich etc.  

My biggest surprise was that Ozeri cares so much about their pans that they send a felt liner so when  you stack your pans no damage comes to the inside surface. Can I say I love this company or it's pans any more clearly?

The inside of the pan is much different than other pans I have used in the past. I have been married for 25 plus years and have been cooking for longer then that. I have seen a lot of pans in my life and this one is unique with the honeycomb texture. Love how my food comes out of the pan and doesn't stick.

The best part is that this is a product that 100% PTFE, PFOA and APEO Free which makes me feel better about the food that is coming out of the pan after it has been cooked. Love the silicone handle so easy on the hands. No chemical smells to worry about even at high temperatures and anyone who may have let a pan cook too long at a high temperature might know that just what that horrible odor is where you have to clear the kids out and open a few windows. This infuser water bottle by Infuzeit is pretty nice. I love the drink spout and locking top. The built in grips on the side are great for no slip drinking, or chugging depending on how you enjoy your water.

The size of the bottle is a great size for water. I find 20 oz a bit small while 32 oz is just about right. I love that I can put ice in the bottom to keep my drink cool and still be able to use the infuser for great tasting flavor infused water.

I see this making its way around town quite a bit with me. Even though this box was immaculate the top of my water bottle has a crack in it. They will be sending me a new undamaged one, but even with the damage I can see how well made this was and know that this was a defect during packing that was not caught.

Most flosses get stuck in my teeth and then have to be cut out of my mouth so my Dr. and Dentist recommended a electric toothbrush, and a oral irrigator to help me floss better and more frequently. This isn't one of the huge oral irrigators most of us are used to seeing. We have one of those but this one is more compact and easier to travel with which seems to be happening more for our family now that the older kids are out of the house.
