Protect your clothes while laundering

One of my favorite laundry items are mesh laundry bags like this 4 piece set from Nemuria. Even though I always buy a washer with the hand wash setting, I still invest in laundry bags.

I have used them for baby items, delicates, intimates, dresses, etc. My favorite way to use the large bag which is included in this set  is for my curtains which I wash once every 6 months or so. I just pop them inside through them in the wash, one out I just hand while wet unless I am changing them out then I let air dry before storing.

Delicate Washables

In our family we do a lot of clothes washing, the washer and dryer seem to never stop for long before another load is piled in. Having 4 girls I decided long ago that all of my washing machines would have a hand wash setting.

I have stayed true to that decision. Tons of stockings, undergarments, and delicate clothes later I have saved my body much overuse by not hand washing it all by hand. Being a women I have lots of delicates that need to be washed with loving care. Luckily I have a hand wash cycle on my washer but I also use Laundry bags to keep my delicates looking their best.
