My 2015 Goals
My 2015 Goals for myself on a personal level are to continue my path with Jesus letting him lead the way no matter how much I want to tell him which way to lead me. He made me very strong and sometimes I buck against his will. Even though I grew up learning about the Bible and keep God's word close to my heart. I rarely sit down to read his word, something I want to increase over the next year.
I will continue praying for my children, friends, family, and the world. My children know to pray thanking God for the their meals, for people when they are sick, accidents we see while driving, and people going through hard times. There is always time to teach prayer. Prayer is one thing that can be given freely, while providing the best help anyone can receive.
I want to continue on losing weight even if it keeps going as slow as it is. Every ounce lost is better for my health, body, and mind. I have my tread mill and hope to be adding a recumbent bike to our workout/ entry room this spring.
Depending on my pain level which I would like to get under control, although I've heard that there is no way with having Fibromyalgia, I want to be able to prepare meals every night for my family, as well as being able to keep up with house cleaning.
Our home is not a hoarders dream but it is no where near being as clean as it was when I was younger. I use to be able to clean from top to bottom, watch the kids, make meals, and still find time to take bath while reading a book, now I am lucky if I have enough energy to get out of bed in the morning, much less do a load of dishes.
As a mother I want to continue my close relationship with my children letting them know I am here to talk to. I want them to always know their mother loved them every step of the way, even when they did things I disapproved of and even more importantly the God disapproves of. True love is unconditional and that is what I want my children to learn.
As a wife I want to continue loving, praying, and caring for my husband. What he wants most is a nice warm meal when he gets home from college on his late nights and that is one thing that I have found the hardest to do with being in pain everyday. I do have a few ideas, so God willing he will have a warm meal when he gets home on those nights.
These are just my personal goals, I didn't go into family, financial, or blog goals so keep a look out for those. Here is to another great year of growing, learning, and loving.
