Wearever Mattress Pads can be used to protect against wetness as well as staining. I have a bleeding disorder. When my menstrual cycle time is near I know I can put this pad on my bed and protect my sheets and mattress from stains. I bleed very heavily and have not found anything that can hold that much blood so stains have been something I have had to deal with since I began my cycles.
With Wearever Mattress Pads I don't have to worry about this anymore. I now have a washable pad that I can throw in the laundry and use over and over again. No more stains. This is great on a child's bed as much as on an adults bed for urine, stool, or blood loss.
