I Wish I Were a LION was enjoyed by my 6 year old daughter. My daughter loved the pictures, her favorite was the picture of the Lion sleeping. She and I both learned several things about Lions we did not know. 

As a parent who has read lots and lots of books, this is the kind of book that is both educational and loved for it's pictures which makes it fun for children. I like knowing that my daughter is learning with every book she reads or has read to her.
