Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle
I was personally really excited to review the Hydracentials Sporty 25 oz Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle . Between all of the years of sports with our 6 children we have gone through our fair share of water bottles, and every time I find a good one for myself they seem to disappear never turning up again.
We no longer try to buy expensive water bottles for the kids, because someone always loses them or they get stolen.I have bought "steel" water bottles before but they always seem to sweat so much and leave big wet puddles behind, that I gave up on them.
With a bit of skepticism I tried the Hydracentials Sporty 25 oz Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle. The first thing I did was load it up and put it our sweltering hot car. half hour goes by no sweat, an hour goes by no sweat. I open the water bottle to get a drink during the soccer game and what do you know, nice cold refreshing water.
The best part about this water bottle is that it has a wide mouth so I can put ice into the chamber to keep my water extra cold. Most of the metal water bottles out there have a tiny holes that you can hardly get running water in never mind being able to clean it properly. There is no problem cleaning this water bottle. What we do is wash it out when we are done with it for the day and let it air dry, and it is ready to go again in the morning.
I only found one downfall, it is not suitable for hot liquids so even though I love this bottle I am still on the lookout for a bottle this size that will hold hot liquids and keep them hot. My husband would have taken one of these if it held hot liquids, because unlike what the company said above, my husband likes to drink his coffee with a straw in the car.
When most people think of a straw they think of a straw that goes all the way to the bottom, with this water bottle the straw is only in the cap so you still tilt your bottle to drink.
For an extra fee you can get a insulated sleeve and two straw cleaners. To keep the bottle from being dented, scratched, or dinged I suggest using the insulated Sleeve.
