First of all besides using the computer I don't really use Apps, so I had to teach myself how to download and use one. My husband and children are quite comfortable engaging in Apps but I am a bit late in learning. Once I figured out my tablet which is brand new could not support that App (time for an upgrade) and that my much older smartphone could, I was ready to let my 6 year old daughter take the reins and give Painting Lulu a go.
The 32 page coloring book can be used as is or digitally uploaded through a scan code unto your compatible smartphone or tablet. Also included is a crayon stylus, very kid friendly.
The Painting Lulu App comes with one picture and is free* so you can try it without buying anything else you would just have to use your finger to color with instead of the stylus that comes with the coloring book. I did find two other coloring books you can download and they are .99 *.
This kept my 6 year old daughter very occupied for a long time, will be downloading the other two coloring books soon. I know this will be great for my grand daughter who also loves to color, but often colors on the walls instead, no mess this way, which means no more lost crayons, markers, or pencils in my vehicle either. My 11 year old was happy that both her and my younger daughter can color the same pages, and then either share them with family on facebook, or print them out. Sure hope Painting Lulu comes out with more coloring books.
